2025年2月3日 · The original P225/P6 uses unique magazines, as does the P225-A1. Nothing else made by SIG will work in either frame. I've read that Walther P1/P38 magazines can be modified to work in a P225/P6, but have never done so personally. AFAIAK, nothing else will fit in a P225-A1, although their mags will work in a P239.

2017年8月2日 · Now, when SIG was toying with the release of the "new and improved" P225 in 2015, they actually called it the P225A in the early days. Still remember Jeff Creamer, one of the SIG big wigs, coming on the Green forum and announced it. But, officially it was named the P225-A1, when it came out. So, folks use the two names interchangeably.

2024年10月8日 · My first P225 ProMag, back from the late 1990s (maybe 1999 as I bought my P225 new, which was made in 1998), did not work 100% back then. With that 1st P225 ProMag, I had premature slide lock with 1-round still in the mag. Some careful filing of the follower got the mag to work ok. Finally, the mag wore out.

2020年5月4日 · The P365XL with the sleeve is very comfortable but ends up actually being a bit wider than the P225. I prefer both the DA/SA and weight of the P225 so I'm actually considering selling off my P365XL which is not something I expected to ever think about. I enjoy shooting the P225 more than the P365XL.

2015年2月22日 · Welcome aboard... I have both (P225-9mm, P229-.40) and love 'em BOTH!!... Have 'carried' the P225 (along with CZ P-01) because it is the slimmer of the two SIGs and conceals well. Both are dead-accurate pistolas and for me, both have been flawless shoots (for carry and HD). The mag-capacity on the P225 is 8-rnds, which for some is an issue.

2019年4月19日 · If you have a hideously short index finger like I do, there is another option. If you are handy and have access to some basic shop equipment, the P239 trigger will fit the P6/P225 frame, except that it is a few millimetres too long and will interfere with the lower trigger guard.
