The SOLE effect that equipment has is to temporarily boost existing attribute levels in certain play areas when and only when perks that are connected to the equipment are active within the game during the play in question.

The last 3 years i have been playing MLB the Show on my pc using cloud gaming on the xbox app for windows while my son played other games on the console.
