Aug 15, 2007 · SV650 = More sporty, a bit more power. Not as good of wind protection, but silly amounts of fun to ride. In either case - I don't believe you'll have any issues coming from a Ninja 250.

LED headlight upgrade for Gen3 - Suzuki SV650 Riders Forum
Jan 9, 2024 · I own the 2023 SV650 (non-ABS). This is the best rated LED headlight, that i installed. It is a bit pricy as compared to others but is amazingly bright producing 4210 RAW LUMENS --> "Vision X Lighting (XMC-7RD) 7" Round VX Motorcycle LED Headlight w/Low-High-Halo, Single Light"
Why should I get an SV650 instead of a Yamaha MT07?
Feb 3, 2022 · Between the MT-07 and the SV650 I give the edge in performance to the MT-07. A little more power and about 25-30 lbs less. That being said I don't care for the styling of the MT-07 and it does feel a little "cheap" compared to the SV650. I bought a leftover SV650X in 2020 because the price was great and Suzuki was offering 60 month 0% financing.
