2012年4月10日 · Most people are of the mind set that SBR's are worthless past 100 yards. So then the next obvious question is why have a BDC reticle especially for a short barrel. I am a proud owner of an SBR and an ACOG, and I still don't think I'd spend my hard-earned money on an SBR specific ACOG.

2020年12月25日 · Got a buddy I got into shooting, set up two rifles for him. One is a 16” with a Razor 1-6/AEM5. The other is a KAC 11.5” factory SBR with the Surefire RC2 can & a MAWL. Was originally thinking EOTECH/magnifier in a riser (will be his primary NVD gun) but the ACOG/RMR idea has me thinking. I’ve never shot that combo.

2016年8月31日 · I too run an ACOG on my SBR for many reasons. Mine is 300blk though. The manual will/should have the measurements of the reticle design thus allowing you to plug your info into a ballistic calculator and see what each subtension will be for yardage. Due to my velocity loss, I think I remember my 400 yd mark is now around 350.

2010年11月14日 · ACOG and an SBR is a great setup, and I doubt you'll have any problems with it, whether using an offset RDS or the BAC. SBRs can be every bit as accurate as a longer barreled carbine at a distance and there's lots of documentation of folks running around with CQBRs with ACOGs and ELCANs downrange.

2022年10月27日 · acog's are pretty awesome optics. if i was building a rifle for an acog it would probably be a 14.5" or 16" m4 type like THEdtw's posted above , or maybe a 20" m16a4 clone because i don't have a 20" barreled ar. they are pretty versatile and can be used on most guns from shorty's to full length uppers.

2016年10月26日 · I'm trying to figure out what optic I want on my 12.5in SBR (5.56). So far, I'm looking at the Accupoint 1-4x with a triangle, ACOG TA33 (3x) or TA44 (1.5x), or an Aimpoint T-2. I'm trying to keep it relatively light, but will accept some weight for better performance (looking at 6-12in targets at 0-300m as the primary use).

2017年7月11日 · Yes, I have one on my Uzi SMG and it is awesome. I have the Trijicon MM04 mount. It is discontinued due to the change in the style of the mini ACOG. It allows you to use the iron sights or ACOG. The 1.5 magnification is perfect. I have 2 of the mini ACOG's. Got one in a trade and the other off of the EE. Damn sure didn't pay full price.
