2024年7月26日 · The curly-coated retriever is the oldest of the retriever breeds. It first appeared in the late 1700s. Their coat, either black or liver, consists of tight, waterproof curls. Unlike other retrievers, the curly-coated type features a tapered, wedge-shaped head.

The Labrador retriever comes in three recognized coat colors — black, chocolate and yellow. They are one of the heavier retriever dog breeds, growing up to 80 pounds and 24 inches in height.
