2016年3月24日 · The Remington 870 is probably the easiest platform to start with for a short barreled shotgun, because it doesn’t require any custom work and the factory barrels aren’t too hard to come by. Because this shotgun has a barrel under 18-inches, it does fall under the National Firearms Act regulations.

2022年2月10日 · I'm getting ready to form 1 my old 870 with the original 18 in barrel and wanted to ask yall what length is the usual length to cut back to? Also, what company does good work for cutting the barrel and tapping a new sight and threading for chokes at the new length?

The police trade-in SBS's make ideal truck guns or project shotguns. They have cosmetic scratches and wear, but are 100% functional. For most of their life, they have sat in a rack and only been used minimally.

Remington 870 Express with wood furniture registered as a SBS by Capitol Armory. Barrel has been cut to 12.5" and choked Rem style for use with a SilencerCo Salvo 12. The front bead was relocated as well.
