2010年5月23日 · Ahh, that makes sense. I want one to use mainly as my red steady burn in my spotlight, and If I really like it, I will get two more to replace the GE4001R bulbs on the front of my motorcycle. I'm still unsure whether to get the red spot, or red flood style.

2017年1月14日 · The second picture is in the trunk. As you can see, their is an orange and yellow wire just kind of kicking around. I also noticed a 2 pin plug that wasn't going to anything. It also has a red wire with white stripe that is constantly energized, and it has a orange wire with black stripe that appears to run up to the latch on the trunk lid.

2010年5月23日 · At the car wash the cloth top brushes snag on the spot light and today one of the broke off. This also happened on my 08 Tahoe once as well. Since I plan to keep this a long time and use the car wash in addition being able to see to the left, I removed it (Keeping the spotlight up all the time is whacker in my opinion).

2024年4月30日 · I'm in the process of rebuilding a Red/Amber/Red XL5000 bar. Making one bar out of two, one has the older powder coated grey aluminum frame where as the other uses a bare aluminum frame. This should be a fun project, my first code 3 XL Bar.

2021年7月5日 · CHP used 4000R bulbs in the front red spotlights, but they are almost impossible to find today, and if you do, they are wicked expensive, like 5 times the cost of a 4001R. The 4001R is sufficient for the task, and was used when they couldn't get the 4000R's. The red rear light was a standard 4001R. The center-mount halogen mirror light was this:
