RSD11 was a four-day symposium, available in-person and online. The core programme ran October 13-16, with pre-symposium workshops, events, and the Systemic Design Association’s general assembly on October 12. #NewMacy also ran a dedicated track at RSD11. The focus was “ontogenesis,” developing new ways of becoming.

RSD11 was made possible by hundreds of contributors, reviewers, and organisers. Authors spend countless hours researching and writing their articles, and in 2022, RSD11 received submissions for 167 papers—more than ever before.

Together, the RSD symposia and Contexts support the vital emergence of supportive opportunities for scholars and practitioners to publish work in the interdisciplinary field of systemic design.
