I wanted to start this thread in order to help those who are interested in this conversion and for myself. My main concern with this mod is the swingarm bolt, air box, pipe clearance and brake pedal clearance.

2013年8月21日 · The most vital step (to most people's sight) in doing an AF conversion is aligning the counter shaft sprocket with the rear sprocket, and ensuring the chain travel clears the swingarm. After this, its a game between machinists and welders in configuring new brackets to mount the 2T into the new motor.

2018年5月26日 · I was looking at pics of the rm250 airbox and the rubber boot sits lower than the rmz and is shorter . So got that coming soon, i also got a spark plug for a ktm 250 as they are shorter. And that solves the tank clearance issue.

2010年1月31日 · Initial testing has been good, handling traits of the RMZ are still there. Bike truly feels like your on the 4stroke. Bike vibrates slightly more than the steel frame at idle, but is not noticable at riding rpm. The bike seems to hook up better than the 2stroke chassis does, and I thought the rm actually hooked up great.

2008年11月21日 · Is the 250f frame too small or not strong enough or something? I think the 250f is suzuki 's best looking bike and they should make kits to adapt two stroke engines for it. Well, it doesn't cost anything to pull your motor out and drop it into the frame. The first thing to check is the swingarm pivot bolt.
