Went to my local shop and they thought it was irritation from the eel burrowing and the return head facing downwards causing the fish to produce slime coat.

Puffers live in all 3 water systems: freshwater, brackish water and saltwater. But in my humble and unbiased opinion saltwater puffer fish are the best.

You would gradually raise the copper concentration to 0.18 ppm over three days. then, hold the fish at that level for 21 days and remove the copper through water changes. If a fish is infected with ich, trophonts will leave the fish at some point during the TTM process, and the encysted stage doesn’t have enough time to release theronts (i.e. free swimmers that re-infect the fish) before the fish exits the tank.

2018年11月4日 · Other than that you can use on of those silicone strainer tools to scoop the fish. The best one is a kinda square one about 5"x 5" or so, the square shape goes great especially when chasing the fish into the corner of the tank. Frozen clams work great for keeping their teeth ground to the proper range. Some puffers do not do well in copper at all.
