2017年7月19日 · Entry-level harnesses are pretty cheap these days. In the $40 range you could get a decent harness (BD Momentum, Petzl Corax, Camp USA Energy) and sell it on MP for $25 when you're done with it. There are also those gym-style harnesses in the $20 range.

2020年6月23日 · I would have few reservations with using the evolv adjust as a personal lanyard, despite Petzl’s warnings. The 15 kN static strength requirement for personal lanyards seems overly conservative to me for a dynamic rope. Petzl apparently measured a maximum force of 6.2 kN in a factor 2 fall on the evolv adjust.

All my TR anchors are built on gear and gear slings can be unweildy sometimes. I like space on my harness for "stuffs." They also come in handy when I'm working with groups on the tower. Here this spring, i will also be getting certified on natural rock for my organization. Hopefully it means I can spend more time in the harness.
