2022年11月10日 · This applies not just to the home screen where you have PS4 and PS5 versions of the game and we have devs of live service games like Destiny coming out and saying over 30% of PS5 users are using the PS4 bc version on their PS5 but also to the store. The PSN is an absolute mess.

2021年12月24日 · While the PS5 store is indeed bad, it's still leagues more responsive than the PS4 "store", which was the worst console storefront I've ever been subjected to. So while I still dont like it, its at least serviceable when I need to use it on occasion.

2023年11月29日 · I dislike the Steam store as well, but it's a lot better than the eShop (on Switch), the MS Store (on Xbox), and PS Store (on PS5). That said, navigating the eShop on the web is a much pleasant experience than any of the other options overall, including Steam, although obviously it has far fewer features.

2025年3月20日 · I mean, the store is mostly used games and merch, but at least there was some good energy. Best Buy is so sad. Target doesn't have a huge video game presence, but at least they seem well-stocked with games, systems, peripherals, and related merch.

2023年11月29日 · Steam is definitely going to make everything else look bad, but yes, the worst qualities of the PS5 store are very, very bad. UX has been kind of a sore spot for PlayStation since the end of PS3 generation imo. PS4 made improvements over time but was still pretty poor overall too, especially considering their market and mindshare lead.

And why the hell is the PS5 store by default sorted by "recent", while the PS4 store is sorted by "most popular", which is completely useless?

2020年12月21日 · Also actually, the few times i have seen a sale featured in the ps5 store, the new UI is really hard to read the prices/percentage off text The ps4 store has those blue/yellow tabs displaying the % off which i found really easy to scan. The ps5 its all just written in plain white text and makes scrolling through the sale that much harder.

2025年3月1日 · Wait till more people on Era find out Forza Horizon 5 has limited time events and loot boxes lol. Forza is chalk full with live service elements (battle pass, limited time events, premium store, loot boxes, DLC, expansions) that the usual suspects haven't complained about because it was related to Xbox and PC and this is a PlayStation dominant forum.

2021年8月4日 · I swear finding anything on console is just nearly impossible and some games that are actually compatible with PS5 don't even show up in the store search at all. They really need to figure this shit out because the store experience is still one of the real lowlights of the PS5 experience to me.
