What is pog? What is ‘pog’, ‘pogU’ and similar emotes, what do they mean and where did they come from? I have been seeing people saying pog a lot recently, I understand that it is an emote but I don’t understand where it came from or what it means, if someone says “that’s pog”, ‘pogchamp!’ or ‘pogU’ what do they mean?

PogChamp is a Twitch TV emote of an excited/surprised face. It's usually used when something crazy good happens unexpectedly, although it's over used so people just use it when anything mildly OK happens nowadays. Anyway that's been abbreviated to "Pog" or "Poggers" which is why you see that used more often than the actual emote!
