2023年4月4日 · My 2015 JK has been throwing P0128 codes for about a year. Usually only late at night or in the morning when it's cold. I have been just ignoring it as it goes away after a few cycles, or I erase it with Jscan. In the beginning after a few codes it logged a P0128 Permanent Fault Code that never goes away when erasing the new code.

2018年3月17日 · Follow up to the original question. My CEL has been on for a few days. Finally scanned last night and got the same code P0128. Coolant was pretty low, but not below the add line. I went ahead and topped off the coolant. Was hoping that's the simple fix before replacing the thermostat. The jeep is running fine, all the temperatures seem normal.

The code reader said the thermostat needed replaced so I made an appt with my mechanic (I don't have a garage or shop to work in right now) to replace it. The appt. was for later this week, but yesterday the code went off on its own.
