In 1937, the Kalamalka Agricultural Association and the Oyama Agricultural Association combined to become the Oyama Community Club. Over the years, the original community hall has been replaced twice. The Club looks after the hall and grounds, rents it for community events, and sponsors other community events such as sports days.
