2015年3月18日 · Having just hosted his debut exhibition at VCR Café, things are on the up and up for Olaf Yen. Dealing with the rather dark themes of spirits, death, and gloom in this initial showcase, the rising artist’s attention to depth and detail has resulted in intricate, yet magnetic pieces of art unlike many others in the scene.

My name is Olaf, and I was born in Kota Bahru, a small city in Kelantan. From what I know, kelantan used to be a part of Thailand long ago, and because of this, Kelantan is extremely rich in cultural assimilation. As a child, I didn’t appreciate the rich cultural heritage around me.
