Ohimini is a Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Idekpa-Okpikwu. Ohimini was created out of the present Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Ohimini local government area was created in 1996 withits headquarters in Idekpa and has two of the 22 Idoma districts; Onyagede and Oglewu. In the March 2006 census, Ohimini local government area had a population of 70,688 and was projected to be 95,400 in 2016.

Ohimini local government area is domiciled in Benue state, North-central geopolitical zone of Nigeria and has its headquarters in the town of Idekpa-Okikpo. The LGA shares boundaries with the Otukpo and Okpokwu LGAs and with parts of Kogi state.
