ODC Turkey is a joint command comprised of three directorates (Security Cooperation Directorate; Agreements and Operations Directorate; and Administration and Logistics Directorate) staffed by Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel.

As the most diverse squadron in the 39th Air Base Wing, the 717th supports the U.S. Embassy, Office of Defense Cooperation-Türkiye (ODC-T), and our tenant organizations on the Ankara Support Facility. They also support partner nations, including 30 members of NATO, 22 members of the Partnership for Peace (PfP), and many others.

One part of the DoD team – the ODC – coordinates with the Turkish government on security assistance concerns and security cooperation programs to include defence industry participation in Turkish defence initiatives.
