
NZR A class (1873) - Wikipedia
The NZR A class of 1873 consisted of three types of steam locomotives used on New Zealand's railway network of similar specification but differing detail. The first and most numerous were from the Dübs and Company, the next from the Wellington firm E.W. Mills Lion Foundry, and the last from the Scottish firm of Shanks.

This locomotive (A64) entered traffic with the NZR in January 1875. It was withdrawn from service in November 1890. It was sold to a grain store company in Lyttelton, where it was used to supply steam to various machinery until 1900 when the Canterbury Frozen Meat Co Ltd (CFM) at Fairton purchased the locomotive to use as a shunter.

‘A’ 64 was built in 1873 by Dubs & Co, Glasgow, Scotland. It is a 0-4-0T and was one of the first 3″ 6′ (1067mm) gauged locomotives to operate in New Zealand. This small light-weight (11ton) locomotive performed well in branch line and shunting services.

Dübs Works No 647 Class A 67 0-4-0T New Zealand Railway …
This locomotive (A67) was built by Dübs in Glasgow in 1873 for service with the NZR. It served with the NZR until 1891 when it was sold to the Hokonui Coal Company. It only remained there until 1892 when it was repurchased by the NZR. It was withdrawn from service with the NZR again in 1896 and sold to Lovells Flat Coal Company.
NZR A/Ab/Q/Aa/Wab Pacific locomotive backhead (1:64)
2020年5月7日 · A finely detailed one piece resin print representing the firebox and cab fittings of the Ab pacific. The firebox has a wall thickness less than 1mm, and should therefore clear motors etc if needed. The A, Q Aa and Wab classes had similar boilers for all or part of their lives and this firebox may also be appropriate for these classes.
