AMTF ν-7 (Nu-7), nicknamed " Hammer Down ", is a battalion-strength Armed Mobile Task Force that is sent on operations where communication is lost with sites, typically due to catastrophic events involving breaches or GoI attack. [1] Nu-7 operates out of Armed Biological Containment Area-14 at Mount Abraxas in Nevada 's Ruby Mountains. [1] .

Mobile Task Forces (MTFs) are elite units composed of personnel drawn from across the Foundation and are mobilized to deal with specific threats or situations that sometimes exceed the operational capacity or expertise of regular field personnel and — as their name suggests — may be relocated between facilities or locations as they are needed.
