2003年4月24日 · Does IP67 rated instruments meet the requirments for a Class II, Div 2, Group G area. The Nema rating for this type of area clasification is Nema 9 which is for indoor use. The area I'm working with in is under a canopy, but is possibly exposed to windblown rain, which ordinarily require Nema 4 instruments for protection against water.

Many standard pressure switches, etc. are available with pigtails; terminals are a costly option. I buy the option. I am less certain what we get regarding motors and lights. The manufacturer claims it is suitable for Class 1 Div 2 under NEC Article 500 because "It's considered a npon-sparking device" I suspect it needs to be NEMA 7 or purged. I need to somehow satisfy Korean KOSHA authority.

2004年8月6日 · CEMA is, I belive, defunct. At one time I heard their standards had been adopted by EEMAC (or maybe they became EEMAC). In either case their enclosure standards, as were NEMA's, became adopted by authroritative teting agencies: CSA in the case of EEMAC, and UL in the case of NEMA.
