2017年8月23日 · I built up a .22lr out of boredom mainly, but I do hope to use it in NRL if any matches ever come close to where I live. Nothing within a couple of states me of currently. It's a Kidd Supergrade with a 16.5" barrel in a Victor Titan stock. On it is a Vortex 5-25 PST Gen 2 and I also have a TBAC 22-Takedown suppressor for it.

2014年3月22日 · Hide recommendations on a scope for NRL22 matches. Will be going on a Anschutz 64. What mag range will be optimal? Just looking for some ideas. I havent really been paying attention to the sub $600 scope market. Must be had in Mils. and of course a close parallax. Probably prefer a 30mm to save...

2020年11月18日 · For typical NRL distances and wanting to shoot base class, grab a Ruger 10/22 factory competition rifle and throw a decent scope on it and this should start the experience. Can also do the same with the 457 and T1x if you prefer bolt action. Within a 100yds the Ruger Competition can hang with most custom 10/22 open builds.

2023年4月10日 · Picked up a Savage B22 last fall, mainly because I like MDT chassis, have two others for my PRS rifles. Looked at the Ruger but couldn't find one in stock anywhere, did find a deal on the Savage. Have over 7,000 of 22LR in the safe, mostly CCI Mini-Mag and wanted to put in some range trigger time without burning through my 6.5CM stock.

2022年3月14日 · Athlon Midas is a great pick for the money 5-25 in 34mm or 6-24mm in 30mm. I wanted to shave a few oz on my 22lr so I went with the 6-24 and Burris XTR bushing rings which allow me to zero at the mechanical bottom and roughly get the whole 25 mils (with the zero stop plate removed) and then I can make 450yards with dials and 550 with a bit of hold over

2020年2月8日 · For NRL22 my requirements are decent resolution (can see my 22LR groups at 50 yards during daylight), good turrets (tactile and repeatable), parallax down to 25 yards, a usable reticle (sub-MRAD subtensions and no proprietary "BDC" bullshit), and enough elevation to reach out to around 300 yards (about 15 MRAD).

2017年11月17日 · The Cabela's Coventant scopes come in 4-16x or 6-24x SFP and FFP, MOA or MIL and are on sale for $159 - $250 depending on model. They make an FFP version but in IMHO the 16x SFP model is a better fit for .22LR matches inside of 200 yards.

2018年10月8日 · I have found that longer barrels yield better ES. and keep rounds subsonic. As far as @straightshooter1 's hypothesis on shorter barrels being "better" from a bullet in fight point of view and Iron sights comments , you can get sight radius from either a long barrel or a "bloop tube", when anschutz came out with the "shorter" 19xx and 20xx series it became the cool thing for position shooters ...

2013年2月27日 · The NRL Hunter Match at Arena Training Facility is a good one. I have shot a couple there. Targets were all animals ranging from 70yd - 300yd It is an X match so you’ll find the new matches posted on the NRL22 schedule after or right before the nationals match that’s in June and on Arenas Facebook page.
