2013年6月2日 · The Noctua NH-U12S simply blows me away when it comes to noise levels. At lower fan speeds, this cooler will be impossible to hear over other parts in the average user's case. This cooler is insanely quiet in its default single-fan setup. Noise levels are extremely low even with a second fan.

2020年9月3日 · The NH-U12s isn't a bad cooler. If going Noctua, I'd go the NH-D15 route, albeit I'd bias to the Thermalright Silver Arrow or for quietest builds the Le Grand Macho RT. Is he trying to save money in considering the NH-U12s vs the NH-D15? He should give a good look at the Scythe Fuma 2 if so.

2022年5月19日 · It appears that the NH-U12S, even with dual fans, just doesn't have the cooling capacity to keep the CPU at bay with all core AVX loads. The 5800X3D is one hot puppy. I'm using the Assassin III on mine - arguably the most potent air cooler out there - and I'm only 5 degrees below junction temp with 25c room ambient.
