2021年12月1日 · It makes sense that the N64 doesn’t have many RPGs on it due to the memory limitations of the consoles cartridges, combined with how large RPGs were getting at the time, but it still strikes me as interesting to see that the console …
JRPGs for N64? : r/n64 - Reddit
2023年5月16日 · As a fan of shmups, side scrollers, and RPGs, the Sega Saturn beats the N64 massively in general. I stand by this statement. N64 is great for multiplayer, but as an adult, I don't get to do much multiplayer. Hence, N64 kind of the least interesting for me out of PSX, Saturn and N64. Don't get me wrong, I like them all, but N64 gets played the ...

That game was one of my first RPGs, so I didn't have much to compare it to, and it was the first N64 game I ever rented from Blockbuster, and still I knew it was a shitty game. It was essentially Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest 3D, about as barebones and soulless as an RPG can possibly get.

Man....I wish the N64 had more RPGs. : r/n64 - Reddit
N64 was for sport, racing and party/coop games, with some platform and adventure games. PS1/PS2 was the dedicated RPG console, Dreamcast was fighting and arcade, etc. Because of this mindset, I can't easily imagine RPGs on the console (besides Ogre Battle and Paper Mario, top 3 favorite on the N64). It doesn't feel right to me.
I'd love more RPGs like Custom Robo (and a bit about other N64 …
2024年6月28日 · Other N64 RPGS. With the N64, there aren't a great deal of RPGs (especially if you don't count games like Zelda). Quest 64 had an interesting battle system (if easily broken to your advantage), but the world, while a good starting point, was not fleshed out and the people didn't have much to say and the frequency of random encounters is obscene.
Do you think that the N64 deserves more RPGs and Visual novels?
2022年3月22日 · VNs probably wouldn't have helped, maybe it would've done something for domestic Japanese sales which we know Nintendo was more concerned about than international sales. RPGs on the N64? : r/n64 - Reddit
Hi all. So I have been looking at the library of N64 games and it looks like the N64 had little to no games. It seems like the only RPG was Quest 64. Is this right? I'm looking at JRPGs WRPGs Strategy etc.
Aw yeah! Quest 64! The N64 didn't have a lot of RPGs but it at
I would definitely not recommend this game as one of the first RPGs somebody play even on the N64. Paper Mario is infinitely better but I will say that I really do like the character model of Brian, the world seems very vibrant and poppy most the time outside of the caves, especially for an N64 game. I really like the element mechanic as well.
