Mynocks (IPA: /ˈmaɪ.nɒk/, Merriam–Webster: \mīnäk\) were a bat-like parasitic species that hailed from the world of Ord Mynock. A group of mynocks is called a battery. Even so, they also thrived in asteroids and could survive in realspace, with some even living within exogorths.

Mynock Despised by starship captains, mynocks are leathery-winged parasites found winging through deep space, roosting in asteroid fields and sometimes lurking in damp locations, including the innards of space slugs.

Atmosphere-breathing mynocks also lived on Imdaar and were known to attack those piloting speeder bikes through the planet's swamps.

The mynock can detach itself by spending 5 feet of its Movement. It does so after it drains 10 Hit Points of energy from the target or the target dies. A creature, including the target, can use its action to detach the Mynock.
