WESTBOROUGH, Massachusetts – January 25, 2023 – Miach Orthopaedics, Inc., a company transforming the treatment of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears from reconstruction to restoration with the Bridge-Enhanced ACL Restoration (BEAR®) Implant, today announced closing of a $40 million financing round.

The BEAR Implant was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 2020, and Miach continues to expand its base of evidence through post-market studies. The BEAR-MOON study is comparing traditional ACL reconstruction with a patellar tendon autograft to ACL restoration using the BEAR implant.

The BEAR Implant from Miach Orthopaedics was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in December 2020. It is indicated for skeletally mature patients at least 14 years of age with a complete rupture of the ACL confirmed by MRI.
