2025年3月7日 · The Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department maintains over 2,500 acres of civic parkland, special-use areas, beautification areas and public-rights-of-way and is the largest provider of community recreation programs and services in the Rogue Valley.

We provide a system of attractive, safe, clean, accessible, interconnected parks throughout the city. Our city has over thirty public park and facility spaces. From birthday parties to large events, we can help.

Medford boast over 28 local parks that can be enjoy by all ages, year around. Medford Parks & Rec is a great resource for additional information on our city parks, sport fields, events and tournaments.

Lithia & Driveway Fields is owned, operated, and maintained by the City of Medford. The park features 15 ballfields and is one of the largest municipal installations of synthetic turf in the United States. The facility has hosted over 70,000 games and has generated over $170 million in economic impact since opening in May 2008.

For more information about using Medford’s Parks, click the link to find out. Barry Park is located on Summer Street and is 3.6 acres consisting of one baseball field, two basketball courts, two tennis courts and one playground.

The Medford Parks and Recreation Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), was established in 2005. The Foundation raises funds, fosters partnerships, and advocates in support of specific projects and activities that benefit our City parks and recreation programs.

The Medford Park Division is responsible for maintaining more than twenty-four parks and playgrounds, passive parks, Riverbend Park and Hormel Stadium and, in the summer months, Wright’s Pond and Tufts Pool. These sites comprise over 118 acres of land.
