2022年4月23日 · Maniac got me into Conan first as well. I would say Telepath and Wish You Were Sober are related to that in terms of catchy-ness to me. For something more Heather-like, I would say People Watching and Lookalike are also amazing and heart-wrenching.

2021年1月16日 · Olivia Rodrigo's new song "Driver's License" at the end sounds like "Maniac" by Conan Gray to me. Closer to the end, both songs have an autotune sing-songy voice that sounds really similar. I don't know.

I remember of the Charli XCX interrogation room interview that she was revealing a lot of "new" information that we already knew about when the video was released, meaning that the video was filmed months in advance before the album announcement. Same thing could apply to the Conan video.

Conan was one of my top artists on Spotify the year he dropped Kid Krow. But for some reason, Superache just didn't do much for me. His latest pivot into eighties-inspired synth pop has been interesting to see, but again nothing's been able to hit for me as hard as "Maniac" and "Wish You Were Sober" did.
