Seasonal Monsters are exclusive to certain Seasons observed throughout the year. They are only available during a short window of time for purchase and/or breeding, making them some of the more elusive monsters found in the game.

Seasonal Shanty is a teleporting Island that holds all Seasonal Monsters together on a single island. It is home to 45 Monsters and 5 Costumes. When a Seasonal Monster reaches Level 15, it can be teleported to this Island. It will reset its Level and get sent to the Nursery, and will also stay there permanently, unless sold.
