MND Victoria provides a range of services across the state to support people with MND, their carers, family, friends and health professionals. Services are provided through the Support Services (SS) team at no direct cost to the person with MND.

MND Victoria started in 1981 (initially as the Motor Neurone Society of Victoria) with a meeting of a small group of people with MND and their families, health/welfare staff, and other concerned people. We now provide support across Victoria, Tasmania and the border area of NSW.

For people living with MND in Victoria, having access to specialised equipment/ Assistive Technology can make an invaluable difference. MND Victoria’s Equipment Loan Library is designed to bridge this gap, offering a comprehensive range of aids and devices that support safety, independence, and quality of life.

MND Victoria is the only not-for-profit providing direct care & support to Victorians living with motor neurone disease, at no cost to them.
