Grimm has done some interviews, which don't necessarily make it seem like they are in a friendly place. But, he does say he would be open to working together again. MF Grimm was the originator of the 'MF' and it wasn't until after this beef that DOOM dropped it from his name in (2009). As others have pointed out, he stills puts out music.

MF Grimm was a rapper and comic writer in New York. Him and DOOM go back to the KMD Days. Grimm is credited on a song. Not under Grimm, but another one of his names Grimm Reaper. DOOMs brother died and Grimm was paralyzed after an attempt on his life. After that they worked together on a couple other projects.

Obviously he had KMD beforehand, but DOOM got the whole MF thing straight from GRIMM (which is why he dropped the MF shortly after that beef). And he was also there with him during the infamous Stretch and Bobbito "freestyle" that DOOM did. But ultimately the 'Money' comment is correct.

When I heard this diss track, I was saddened because I respected both MCs and I think their collaborations were classic indie hip-hop.
