Since clinical medicine and biomedical research have a unique synergy, Drexel University College of Medicine offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) – Master of Science (MS) dual degree program for students who wish to connect research and clinical care.

MD + MS in Medical Science Overview. The MS in Medical Science degree is available to MD Plus students through the Clinical & Translational Science (CTS) track of the College of Medicine graduate program.

Through CCaTS ' M.D.-M.S. Program, medical students can earn master's degrees in clinical and translational science in addition to their medical degrees. The program encourages students to broaden their knowledge of research and make it a part of their careers and future practices.

Masters of Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling is a program that trains students to understand the molecular, clinical and psychological implications of differences in the human genome, and to translate these intricacies to health care professionals, laboratory researchers and patients/families.

The MD/Masters Programs at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (SOM) were developed to provide medical students with advanced training in specific areas to complement and enhance their medical training and maximize opportunities after graduation.
