The new MBJ Mobile Lab 5.0 combines an A+A+A+ LED solar simulator built according to IEC 60904-9 Ed.3 with TÜV Rheinland certified light source with a highest resolution electroluminescence test system. Standard-compliant and precise testing of solar modules directly on site is now even easier.

Our mobile measurement and testing equipment for on-site testing of solar modules includes A+A+A+ LED sun simulators, high-resolution electroluminescence testers and various other tests. Integrated in a small van or a container, the systems are flexible to use and easy to move from one location to another.

An electroluminescence test is always performed to check for cell breaks in silicon, so-called 'micro-cracks', along with a power test under simulated or approximate STC conditions (ambient temperature or STC temperature). The modules can also be investigated by thermal imaging (if equipped) with a corresponding indication.
