I didn't want a basic Springfield and wanted a forged reciever, completely unaware that LRB was a thing at that time. I knew of Fulton, Springfield, Bula, Norinco, and James River.

2023年10月31日 · The Op rod is SAK. The rifle is a tack driver all day. The rear sight is hooded in a NM@ housing. Really quality parts. The other Armscorp has "NM" stamped into the receiver, but theres nothing NM about the rifle. 7790190 HR barrel, Winch bolt, Chinese trigger 04779 and a no-name Op-rod which has an undersize tab.

2010年4月18日 · Oh, US Army. Basic at Ft. Jackson in 1975 with an M16A1. AIT at Ft. Polk end of 1976 and first couple months of 1976 with an M16A1. Then got my M14 at Ft. Myer, VA in Feb. 1976 and went to "the field" for training at Ft. A.P. Hill and learned to love my M14 on a windy day when they had us shoot the M16A1s first and the M14's after that.

So far I think there is the original M21, original M14 National Match, Black Hawk Down rifle, M14 EBR-RI, M14T. I believe I’m missing some others. I am curious and looking to categorize all the M14 variants based on barrel contour.

2020年11月19日 · Only SAI makes the M1A. There was a bit of debate in the 1970's about calling a commercial rifle an M14, which was still in service. Same reasoning behind not calling an AR an M16. Later on, companies felt free to use the M14 name on commercial rifles. If the rifle chambers and shoots live ammunition, I would consider it "real."
