The M113½ Command and Reconnaissance Vehicle (M113 C&R) is a United States -built tracked reconnaissance armoured fighting vehicle, which was originally employed by the armed forces of the Netherlands and Canada and later Bahrain and Chile.

The new vehicle was designated as “M-113 1/2 Command and Reconnaisance Vehicle“, although it is more commonly known as “Lynx CR” or “M-113 C & R“. This vehicle could carry three soldiers only, and was armed with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun and a light 7.62mm machine gun.

The M113, measuring 15 feet, 11 inches long, 8 feet, 10 inches wide, and 8 feet, 2 inches in height, and weighing just over twelve tons, could carry eleven fully equipped soldiers and a crew of two (driver and track commander). Its 209-horsepower Chrysler 75M gasoline engine gave the M113 a road speed in excess of forty miles-per-hour.
