Winter and lynx both have a mutual friendship, and winter seems to respect her in more ways than just ranking. I have only read the books (1-13) but I havent read any of the winglets or other outside information like that, so if there is somthing I am missing, be sure to let me know.

Sure Lynx is probably the only good thing for Snowfall and kept her from going insane in the early days, never losing her cool. But i don't think Snowfall is good for Lynx in the long term, if she doesn't change her behavior towards Lynx at some point. Sure she does care for her, but she's unable to show that.
