Lynn Loo, clean energy pioneer and maritime decarbonization champion, and alum Marian Gindy, elected to National Academy of Engineering

An American engineer, Yueh-Lin (Lynn) Loo was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She is presently the Theodora D. ’78 & William H. Walton III ’74 Professor in Engineering and Director of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University.

Yueh-Lin (Lynn) Loo is a Malaysian-born chemical engineer and the Theodora D. '78 and William H. Walton III '74 Professor in Engineering at Princeton University, where she is also the Director of the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment. [1] She is known for inventing nanotransfer printing.

Research interests: Organic and polymer electronics, including transistors, solar cells, sensors and energy efficient smart windows; hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites; patterning; processing-structure-function relationships of complex materials.
