Lote 44 wines come from a high altitude vineyard selection in the Uco Valley over 3,300 feet elevation located at the foothills of the Andes Mountains. First the grapes undergo a cold, pre-fermentation maceration to preserve primary aromas, followed by fermentation with a series of pumpovers to ensure a more balanced extraction.

This wine comes from vineyards located in Gouveia and Seia. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks, with soft extraction at low temperatures. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels of 225L.
