2021年3月8日 · Leaf batteries degrade over time. Some will be treated 'badly' by owners - eg leaving it fully charged all the time, running it from 100%-0 frequently, some may have 'weak cells' that will eventually cause problems, some may have been rapid charged a lot (in succession).

2020年1月11日 · Three days earlier I had got down to 0.9 kWh with Leaf Spy showing the battery SoC as 10.8%. I have put the car on charge and noticed that the figures for Gids% and SoC% are some way apart. Presumably the Gids figure is the one to watch but is it normal for the two %figures to be so far apart?

2015年2月7日 · A quick way of reading the LEAF Spy data is to look at SOH (State of Health). This is a rough measure of how good the battery is. For instance my nearly 3 year old Gen 1 is about 89% at 17k miles which is broadly as expected (or so I believe!).

2016年5月13日 · I've noticed over the past week using leaf SPY, that the soc is being used in the car until around 40% then it slowly makes a transition towards the gids number. When driving around at 20%. the car is reporting 20% battery left, GIDS 20% on leaf spy and 30% SOC.

2016年1月30日 · Recently while awaiting the flatbed I used some time to look at LEAF spy, it turned out that the left side of the display was also lower at the bottom of the charge cycle. The cut out after turtle is decided on the basis of the lowest cell voltage so a better balance would allow more distance on turtle.
