2005年1月12日 · The only transaxle that GM makes that will handle the torque will be the 4T80E. It is a 4 speed auto. Computer controlled. It will not work without a computer. Expect to pay $800+ for the tranny computer alone. The engine will require an ecu as well. Getting the OBDIII computer working in the MR2 will be a complete hassel.

2004年3月3日 · The motor mount also seems to be I. The wrong orientation for the Spyder. Tempted to design my own mount and buy Brandon Furches' (Furches Permormance) LS4 starter oilpan. I've been watching him pretty closely on FB. He's doing an undermount, motor side solution that eliminates or reduces the amount of hacking required on the F40. We shall see.

2014年6月14日 · While I love mr2's, I have to wonder the same thing and it was why I mentioned a turbo miata. When I think track car, I always think fairly common car so that parts are easily sourced or replaceable. Mr2 of any gen seems too rare to be cost effective as a serious track car. Sn95 mustang, bmw, or miata would be my choice for that.
