II. WHO MUST FILE Every labor organization subject to the LMRDA, the Civil Service Reform Act (CSRA), or the Foreign Service Act (FSA) must file Form LM-1 with the Office of Labor- Management Standards (OLMS) of the U.S. Department of Labor.

The Linn LM-1 Drum Computer is a drum machine manufactured by Linn Electronics and released in 1980. It was the first drum machine to use samples of acoustic drums, and one of the first programmable drum machines.

The fact remains that SIA has no parent organization, and it has no affiliates or subsidiaries. Rather, as is reflected in its Constitution & Bylaws, which is being filed with this Form LM-1, SIA is simply a national labor organization that is independent of any other organization.

The Linn LM-1 Drum Computer was created by guitarist Roger Linn and he used samples of acoustic drum sounds. At the time, they sounded great and much more realistic and they were a fresh alternative to the analog drum sounds of the '80's drum machines.
