Kurram District (Urdu: ضلع کرم) is a district in the Kohat Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The name Kurram comes from the river Kwarma (Pashto: کورمه) in Pashto, which itself derives from the Sanskrit word Krumu (Sanskrit: क्रुमु). [4][5][6] Until 2018, it functioned as an agency of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

On 21 November 2024, gunmen attacked a large convoy of vehicles transporting Shia Muslims in the Kurram District of Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing at least 54 people and injuring 86 others.

Kurram or Karam (Urdu: کرم) tribal agency is in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) area of Pakistan. Until the year 2000, when divisions were abolished, Kurram District used to be part of the Peshawar Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
