In 1988, KKSN-FM, 97.1 MHz at Portland, Oregon, started broadcasting golden oldies with the same "kissin'" pronunciation of the station name. Some other well known DJ's on this version include Craig Adams, Steve Lloid, John Williams and Scott Tom among others.

On May 1st 1959, KISN Radio took to the Portland/Vancouver airwaves on 910 AM. 56 years later on May 1st, 2015. KISN Radio will return to the air as KISN-LPFM on 95.1 AFTER 39 YEARS, THE KISN CALLS WILL AGAIN BE BROADCAST IN PORTLAND.

In August of 2014, Scott Young (N7SY) and Ken Seymour met and agreed to pool resources in an attempt to resurrect a tribute station to KISN radio which was a popular AM station in the Portland market from 1959 to 1976.
