Kiryu having cancer seems to be a big plot point though, so I don't mind them revealing it in the trailer if it's basically essential to the story. But I agree for the Gaiden trailer at least, yeah they need to hold back.

2020年12月4日 · Lore answer: Kiryu's always been stupidly strong. Even at his earliest playable point in 0, Bacchus says he's insanely strong but just lacks technique. By training with Bacchus and co. in 0 and later Komaki, he refines his technique and becomes basically unstoppable.

Kiryus most physically draining fight in that game is the 100 Tojo men, which I’m confident 2006 Kiryu could have done. 2012 Kiryu also had to relearn every Komaki move from scratch from Sosuke. 2006 Kiryu was strong enough already to just need acupuncture to regain that strength.
