Koji helps clean up the destruction of Machia's rampage. The evacuation of the city proceeds without any problem. Koji collaborates with Manga, and uses his Quirk to evacuate all the animals in the city while his classmates take care of the citizens.

Koji was partnered with Kyoka during the Final Exams Arc against Present Mic. Although Koji was very shy and terrified of insects, Kyoka's words and example of bravery convinced him to use his Quirk to talk to bugs of the forest.
