Kea has had many interests and hobbies from marathons to tennis. Her love and caring for animals has been her lifelong foundation, which led her to become a veterinarian. She cares for all animals as if they were a member of her own family.

Dr. Apilado-Fisher is the founding Veterinarian of the Animal Health Center. She graduated from The Ohio State University Veterinary School in 1986. She has worked in Florida since graduating, the last 21 years at the Animal Health Center.
