Doppo Orochi (愚地 独歩, Orochi Doppo) is a 10th dan karate grandmaster and head of the Shinshinkai Karate School, husband of Natsue Orochi and adoptive father of Katsumi Orochi. Practicing martial arts for 50 years, he is one of the strongest characters in the series. He is also the sensei of Kiyosumi Katou and Atsushi Suedou.

In the first series, Katsumi is described as the one redefining Karate and perhaps even being better than Doppo (which he then later says isn't the case). Katou is a joke pretty much. Being only a star pupil or something along those lines, but a joke compared to everyone else.

2022年7月6日 · Katou was obviously a side character/audience surrogate from the get go. The real waste was Junichi Hanada. He's introduced as Motobe's star pupil and likely successor, demonstrated incredible physical power and skill, and got hyped as Baki's toughest fight yet... until Toba turned him into a literal plot twist.
