2022年4月6日 · Kary Mullis claims to have discovered PCR in 1983 and received the Nobel prize for it in 1993. However, the first paper that describes the PCR technique was published in 1971 by a Norwegian biochemist named Kjell Kleppe. Now Kleppe died in 1988 so he was no longer alive when Mullis received the Nobel prize for it.

However, they fail to give it proper context. Mullis argued that HIV testing was meaningless, and that HIV was not at all related to AIDS.
