Pulse (回路, Kairo; "Circuit") is a 2001 Japanese techno-horror film written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The film was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. [4] The movie was well-received critically and has a cult following. [5]

I really like the slow and ominous atmosphere of Kairo, especially its depiction of Japan's late 90s and early 2000s aesthetics, including early internet culture and architectural design. The film features some excellent decor shots that enhance its eerie and nostalgic feel.

A hug like that was maybe the only thing he needed in life to keep him from going down such a dark path.

I was genuinely looking over my shoulder for the entirety of the next day, hoping that shadow in the corner isn't what I thought it was.
