Kx100 big bore? - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Nov 23, 2020 · You can build a KX100 engine into a rocket but versus even a stock 125 it will always have the disadvantage of smaller wheels and less suspension travel. HP is only one part of the 'package', putting the power to the ground and having the bike handle are more important factors in the overall package.
KX100 Jetting Chart - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Sep 12, 2008 · Here’s the chart that you had asked me to put together for your bike. The stock jetting on the 2001-08 KX100 has been too rich from the factory on the clip position and the pilot circuit. I used the stock 138 main, stock NAPF needle with the clip in the #2 (from the top) position, and a 42 pilot for 70 degrees and 0’ elevation.

Sep 4, 2020 · a stock KX100 is set up for about a 100lbs rider. With the quite stiffer fork and shock springs required for a 160lbs rider, you will also need the forks/shock revalved to match as you won't be able to compensate for their extra stored energy with the rebound clickers alone.

Dec 9, 2020 · Long time stalker of the forum but I'm a noob Dad and stuck. Lost spark on my son's KX100. It's a 2007 so I figured I'd just redo all of it just to be safe because of its age. Stator, ignition coil, CDI. I still don't have spark. Metering the new electrosport stator, it …

kx100 "low compression" but wait... there's more...what's
Dec 18, 2020 · I purchased a kx100 at a fair price because the previous owner stated it had low compression. I hooked up my compression tester and it makes 170psi after 6 to 8 or so kicks. To me this doesn't indicate low compression. It's a long test hose so I think 6 to 8 kicks is fair. it IS running poorly, like the carb is messed up, and tons of spooge.
Building a bigger KX100 for technical trails... - ThumperTalk
Apr 17, 2012 · KX100. Pros: - plenty of power - great seat height - super light - great suspension and brakes - cheap - plenty of aftermarket. Cons - wheelbase is WAY too short (50.8") - wheels are too small. - fork angle is a little too slack. I love tinkering and building things, and I need a new project. So here's what I'm thinking: - KX100 stretched 4-5 ...

KX100 2 stroke oil mix - Kawasaki 2 Stroke - ThumperTalk
Jun 16, 2020 · Don't use Interceptor at 32:1 or any ratio in the KX100. Viscosity is too thin for constant high RPM riding. Only bike I ever seized in 14 years of riding was due to this oil. So many other oils out there better than this for the screamer engine.
